A Design for Life

A short film by TY students from St Angela’s College

A Design for Life is a short film that explores the importance of architecture as a trigger to psychological/physical wellbeing. The film follows a student through two spaces, designed by architects O’Donnell + Tuomey, focusing on how the architecture relates to the wider environment and on the spaces impact the people who use them.

The project was a collaboration between TY students from St Angela’s College and the Glucksman. The students controlled all aspects of the project from storyboarding to filming and editing. The group worked together to create a film that focuses on their everyday environments and the direct impact these spaces have on positive mental health and wellbeing.
