#MADELOCAL campaign highlights Irish makers and retailers

The Glucksman is proud to participate in the #MADELOCAL campaign launched today by the Design & Craft Council of Ireland.

The Made Local campaign is a nationwide initiative to boost sales and drive revenue for Irish makers and retailers. The Glucksman shop is delighted to support both established and emerging craft artists and designers.

We would be delighted to welcome you to the gallery to see some of our wonderful #MADELOCAL products in person. For those who may not be able to access our gallery in person, we have many of our Irish products available in our online shop and we also have a click and collect service if you prefer to order online and have your purchases ready for you at the gallery.

Recent additions to our shop include:

  • Ireland Beeswax Wraps is a small local business in the Gaeltacht area of Ballymakeera, County Cork producing beautiful and functional products which focus on sustainable living.
  • Leko & Leko - unique jewellery made from 5000 year old bog oak, designed and handcrafted by a wonderful father and daughter duo based in Dublin.
  • Badly Made Books founded by Sean O’Sullivan from Cork produces great notebooks from “rubbish” and keeps us enamoured with his wonderful designs and collaborative pieces.
