Bandfield installation commences
Artist Deirdre Breen has started work on Bandfield a site-specific artwork on Western Road opposite the main ceremonial gates to UCC.
As part of the Mardyke 300 celebrations, the Glucksman is delighted to present a new project that will transform an overlooked bicycle shelter into a vibrant artwork for the city.
The official launch of the project takes place at 5pm on Thursday 30 May by the Lord Mayor of Cork and with a performance by the Butter Exchange Band.
