Join us for a special photographic exhibition, Shanghai and Cork: Sister Cities for 20 Years, celebrating two decades of friendship between these vibrant cities.
Cork and Shanghai have been twinned since 2005, with the goal of fostering cultural, economic, and educational ties. This unique exhibition captures the spirit, people, and landscapes of both Shanghai and Cork, showcasing the deep connections that have flourished over the past 20 years. Through a compelling collection of images, witness the parallel stories, shared moments, and the evolving urban tapestry that bind these sister cities together.
It’s a visual journey not to be missed—a testament to international friendship and the power of cultural dialogue.
This exhibition was made possible with UCC Confucius Institute, Cork City Council, Shandon Studios and Myo Café.
The exhibition opens on Tuesday 07 October and runs in the Gallery Foyer Exhibition Space until Sunday 19 October.
