Seán Hanrahan Q

The qphotoseries is an ongoing photography project and is a proposed series of 100 photographs. Seán Hanrahan’s digital photographs of flowers consciously recall the botanical studies of Karl Blossfeldt, but in order to establish a photography of memory rather than science. The artist explores how we perceive and remember natural forms, and how the camera can convey its own realities.
