As well as providing an internationally significant
cycle of exhibitions, the Lewis Glucksman Gallery works directly
with artists to facilitate individual projects, encouraging interdisciplinary
work that draws on the intellectual resources of the University.
The Glucksman also provides artists with an opportunity to develop
site-specific work in the context of the unique setting of the Universitys
lower grounds.
Curated until 2008 by the Glucksman's previous curator, René Zechlin, the projects
programme provides Irish audiences with an opportunity to encounter
groundbreaking ideas and initiatives in contemporary art and facilitates
the creation of internationally significant work in Cork.
For further information on the Projects
programme information, please contact Matt Packer, Curator
of Exhibitions & Projects.
