LUX Critical Forum Cork
LUX Critical Forum Cork is a discussion group for artists, critics and curators who have an investment in the future of the moving image.
In partnership with the Glucksman and aemi, LUX Critical Forum Cork creates a space for criticality and debate in a mutually supportive environment and in dialogue with Critical Forum groups in Dublin and across the UK. Each meeting consists of presentations by two members of the group and/or invited artists and will involve discussion of films and moving image work by other artists with reference to texts where relevant.
The March session features presentations by Aoife Desmond, an interdisciplinary artist who works predominantly with film, drawing and sculptural installation, and Max Le Cain, a Cork-based experimental filmmaker (often in collaboration with Vicky Langan), writer and affiliate of Experimental Film Society.
Future meetings will take place in the River Room at the Glucksman on 3 April and 5 July. Please contact email@example.com for further information.
