An afternoon of creative fun
Bring the whole family along to the Glucksman on Sunday afternoons from 3-4pm for a free art workshop. Led by professional artists, these free events invite children (and their guardians!) to learn all about making art. Just come along at 3pm equipped with your imagination.
This season, we will consider the touch and
texture present in our current exhibitions Josef and Anni Albers and
Please Touch. Families will spend a creative hour learning about how
they can make their own imaginative artworks.
Places allocated on first come first served basis.
Children must remain accompanied by a guardian.
Creative Tech Club
29 September - 20 October 2018, Saturdays 2pm - 4pm 4-week course for ages 9-12 years , €60 / €50 Glucksman Kids Club members,
+353 21 4901844 / firstname.lastname@example.org.
This season’s Creative Tech Club invites children to explore art that engages all of our senses. Over the course of 4 weeks, participants will work with artist Peter Nash to experiment with a variety of art materials and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) techniques to create their own artworks.
So whether you’re a budding artist or scientist we invite you to join us on this journey of creative experimentation. The children’s artworks will go on public display at the Glucksman as part of Cork Science Festival 2018.
