Senior Art Club: Creative workshops for Older People

Our Senior Community programme is dedicated to involving seniors in all kinds of activities in the gallery with an emphasis on social, fun and creative encounters.

Art Club Senior takes a break over the summer months, but will resume again in the autumn with an introduction to printmaking. The course will provide an introduction to accessible printing techniques and is suitable for beginners and those with some previous experience who would like to refresh their knowledge and improve their basic skills.

Art Club Senior: Shape and Space

This season our Art Club Senior course will focus on mathematical art through printmaking. Over the course of six weeks, participants will learn the techniques involved in monoprint, relief and dry point alongside examining ideas around mathematical art from geometric shapes and patterns, fractal art, architecture, and tessellations.
