Together We Are Nobody, 6pm, 26 August 2010, Free Admission
The Lewis Glucksman Gallery is delighted to announce the youthful and very talented ‘Together We Are Nobody’ for the forthcoming August Glucksman Unplugged.
Formed in March 2009, 'Together We Are Nobody', are rapidly making a name for themselves. They feature the creative writing talents of Chris Dunne Rico and Niamh Murphy, who have been joined by the very talented John Synnott on keys with Mark Fitz on lead guitar and the well oiled rhythm section of Donal Linehan on bass and Shane Murphy on drums.
Together We Are Nobody spent the bones of 2010 working and gigging up and down the country, which included gigs in Dublin, Waterford at the Spraoi festival and a support slot of the famed 'Stanley Super 800' in the Savoy, Cork to name but a few. Following a hugely successful EP launch last December in Cork they are now turning their attention to a pending album and are currently enjoying a busy summer of touring.
Coming from a background of mainly rock influences Together We Are Nobody try to combine the dark and sometimes soft gentle vocals with what can only be described as a 'wall of sound'. Using delicate harmonies they seem to weave their way through the madness of 6 musicians playing there hearts out.
